My last Green Smoothie recipe declared itself as the only Green Smoothie recipe you’ll ever need…but variety is the spice of life so here’s a new one. Although very similar, this Green Smoothie recipe boasts some new greens, green apple, hydrating coconut water and still packs the same high quality nutrition content.
1 cup raw kale
1/2 Green Apple (peeled & sliced)
1/2 medium banana
1 cup of ice
1/2 cup of plain Greek Yogurt
1 scoop of strawberry or vanilla Whey protein
1 tsp. Green Tea Matcha
8 oz. cold coconut water
+ Add the ingredients in the following order (softest to hardest): yogurt, banana, whey protein, kale, apple, and ice.
+ Blend for 30 seconds.Shake to mix up ingredients again.
+ Blend again for 30 seconds or until smooth.
Protein: 35 g
Carbohydrates: 23 g
Fat: 6 g
